MD818 Medical Assessment
Regarding to the policy of the Hong Kong Marine Department, all persons aged 18 or above who intend to engage in maritime service must undergo a medical examination by a registered doctor accredited by the Marine Department to obtain a medical examination certificate. This examination is conducted in accordance with Marine Department standards, and the doctor will assess the candidate according to relevant regulations. Upon completion of the examination, the doctor will complete Medical Assessment Form and Medical Fitness Certificate (MD818) for applying for maritime service work.
