呼吸道合胞病毒疫苗(GSK)

感染呼吸道合胞病毒(RSV)的病徵與傷風、感冒相似，但部分高危人士感染後有機會出現嚴重病徵，如肺炎、呼吸困難或脫水等情況，嚴重更會致死。呼吸道合胞病毒感染全年皆會發生，過往預防呼吸道合胞病毒感染只能靠時刻保持個人及環境衞生，現時亦無特效藥治療感染，本港最近成為亞洲首個地區引入呼吸道合胞病毒疫苗，助長者建立更全面保護屏障，保護力約為82.6%至94.6%。

病徵
呼吸道合胞病毒引致呼吸道疾病，例如氣管、肺部及中耳的感染。這種病毒是引致1歲以下嬰兒支氣管炎和肺炎的最普遍原因。患者會發燒並有其他症狀，例如流鼻水、咳嗽、頭痛、食慾減退、身體感到痛楚或軟弱無力，及間中會引起中耳炎。

傳播途徑
這種病毒可通過直接接觸患者的分泌物、飛沫傳播，或通過受污染的手、食具或接觸剛染有患者鼻或喉部分泌物的物件而間接傳播。

預防方法
最好的預防措施是保持良好的個人及環境衞生。
