RSV can cause serious respiratory infections in infants and young children, particularly newborns and young babies.
When a mother receives the RSV vaccine during pregnancy, antibodies can be transferred to the baby through the placenta, helping to provide protection during the baby’s first six months after birth.
As the baby grows, the level of maternal antibodies gradually decreases. An RSV long-acting monoclonal antibody may be administered when the baby reaches six months of age, subject to medical assessment.
*This transaction must be assessed by the medical staff before vaccination started. If the client is not suitable for vaccination, the balance will be refunded after deducting the HKD200 consultation fee. In case of dispute, the decision of Kinetics Medical & Health Group shall be final.
