Hepatitis A is caused by the hepatitis A virus, mainly due to eating contaminated food, and it may cause fulminant hepatitis, and even death.

Hepatitis A is a liver disease caused by the hepatitis A virus. Hepatitis A is mainly transmitted by contaminated food and water as well as eating shellfish and food without proper cooking. The adverse hygiene circumstances are the hotbeds of HAV, such as in China, East Asia, South America and partial Africa. It usually leads to acute hepatitis. The symptoms are nausea and diarrhea, fever and jaundice signs. If without appropriate care, it can worsen to liver failure, and even death. At present, there is still no workable treatment for HAV. The most effective method of prevention is through hepatitis A vaccination.


Vaccine Information

- Customer must provide a valid Hepatitis A/B screening report (Conducted within 6 months) to the medical center to determine the appropriateness of taking the 1st dose vaccine. 

- Customer is not recommended for the injection if he/she have a history of severe allergic reaction to any vaccine component or a previous dose of Hepatitis A vaccine.

Adverse reactions 

Some people develop temporary soreness, redness and hardening of the skin at the injection site after having the hepatitis vaccine. A small, painless lump may also form, but this usually disappears quickly and isn't a cause for concern.

Contraindications
Hepatitis A vaccination should not be administered to persons with a history of a severe allergic reaction to a vaccine component or following a prior dose of the vaccine.
