【Hepatitis B Vaccine】 (1 Dose, Suitable For Adult)
Hepatitis B is caused by a viral disease. Virus can cause a lot of liver cell to death and damage liver function. Most infected people will become lifelong carriers of the virus and they will develop chronic hepatitis, cirrhosis, and even liver cancer in the future. According to statistics, about 8% of the population of Hong Kong is hepatitis B virus carrier.
Hong Kong SAR government has offered free injections of Hepatitis B vaccine to infants born in Hong Kong after 1988. However, those locals born before this year have not had enough protection. Therefore, it is necessary for this group of people to receive Hepatitis B vaccination.
Vaccine Information
- Approximately 90-95% of people will achieve long-term protection after completing three injections.
- Customer must provide a valid Hepatitis A/B screening report (Conducted within 6 months) to the medical center to determine the appropriateness of taking the 1st dose vaccine.
- Not applicable to people who has been infected by Hepatitis B virus.
