【Hepatitis A + B Combined Vaccine】- TWINRIX® (3 Dose, Suitable For Adult)
TWINRIX® is a dual Hepatitis A and B vaccine which is a vaccine to prevent diseases from Hepatitis A and B viruses by producing respective antibodies at the same time.
Hepatitis A is a serious liver disease. It can cause liver failure and death, although this is rare and occurs more commonly in elderly and persons with other liver diseases, such as hepatitis B or C.
Hepatitis B is a liver infection caused by the hepatitis B virus. It can range from a mild illness lasting a few weeks to a serious, lifelong illness. The hepatitis B virus is spread when blood, semen, or other body fluid infected with the hepatitis B virus enters the body of a person who is not infected.
Vaccine Information
- Not applicable to people who has beeninfected by Hepatitis B virus.
- Effective in preventing hepatitis Aand B at the same time.
- Customer must provide a valid HepatitisA and B screening report (Conducted within 6 months) to the medical center todetermine the appropriateness of taking the 1st dose vaccine.
- Hepatitis A vaccination should not beadministered to persons with a history of a severe allergic reaction to avaccine component or following a prior dose of the vaccine.
